Cookies and reading stats
Nothing beyond essential storage runs until you choose. "Accept all", "Reject non-essential" and "Settings" carry equal weight, and you can change your mind any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of each page.
Essential
bd_consent: remembers your cookie choice (6 months).bd_sid(session storage, not a cookie): a random tab id, cleared when you close the tab.
Functional (only with your OK)
bd_exp: a random id that keeps page tests consistent between visits (12 months). It never changes labels, disclaimers or these choices.
Reading stats (only with your OK)
First-party events (page views, scroll depth, link clicks) sent to our own endpoint. No names, emails or free text. Your IP address is used only for a country-level check and bot filtering, then dropped. No cross-site tracking.
Ads
Ads, when there are any, are non-personalised. We do not build advertising profiles.
Staging: stats are switched off on this build (no analytics tokens configured).
